Three nurses stop by the pod to tell us about their incredible story of Alexie and Lauren saving Vicki’s life with CPR and about the upcoming 5K they’ve organized. They’re all nurses who were at the right place at the right time and they’re using Vicki’s story to encourage anyone and everyone to learn CPR. The Run for Your Life 5K is happening at Snyder YMCA on Water Street in Kittaning on Sat October 28, 2023. The proceeds from the race will go towards paying for bystander CPR training. Without this lifesaving technique, these two individuals would not be with us today. Join them in honoring their wish to encourage the public in learning CPR. Kyle is best known for his street art around the Steel City, Miami and Florida. He’s also an author (his first of a 10-book series called Little Baby Art World), designer and filmmaker and founder of MLK Mural – Moving the Lives of Kids Community Mural Project. His vision was to use public art as a way to reach kids over the summer months to do positive community work when they were not in school. Kyle is working on a 10 mural project and a new 7 mural project for Breast Cancer Awareness. As well as a Stop Gun Violence mural in October.
