When life gives you lemons… you help out a local nonprofit!

The Jags

Non Profit Nebby

Written By Tiana Eicher, YaJagoff Media

Yesterday was the first-ever YaJagoff Helps Nonprofit Nebby Day. From over 10 submissions, our panel selected to get nebby (in a good way) with OpenUpPGH , a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to well-being through inclusive movement and mindfulness education, centering people with disabilities.

With help from Open Up Executive Director, Tessa Karel, and Director of Fundraising and Community, Megan Sicheri, we were able to create an action-driven marketing and business plan for their organization moving forward. They also taught us a thing or two about relieving tension with lemons and spaghetti arms!

Thank you to Lindsay Bock and Matt Miller from Trib Total Media, Shawn Graham from Deep Varnish, Nick Paradise from Peoples Natural Gas, and Alison Yee from Alloy 26/Nova Place, along with our Jag team: John Chamberlin, Rachael Rennebeck, Daniel Casciato and Tiana Eicher. Your insights and expertise turned the day into a success!

Also– a huge thank you to Nikki Heckman and Bistro to Go Cafe and Catering for generously providing us with delicious food all day long!

We are excited to continue working with Tessa and Megan, and look forward to seeing the progression of Open Up!

John Chamberlin and Rachael Rennebeck are Pittsburgh jagoffs (the term of endearment version of jagoff of course) who cofounded YaJagoff Media, LLC. With decades of experience eating, drinking, shopping, living and being among yinzers, we birthed the Pittsburgh-centric company encompassing all things related to the 412, oh and the 724.
