Some criminals leave fingerprints. Some leave DNA. And then there’s this guy, who apparently leaves homework assignments.
Allegheny County police say a bank robber walked into a bank with a gun and handed the teller a note demanding money. Pretty standard bad-guy stuff… until detectives noticed the paper looked suspiciously like part of a school worksheet… a spelling worksheet from a specific class!
Investigators traced the paper back to a local elementary school and eventually identified the suspect. And you thought being pegged about your handwriting samples by Sister Anecita was rough!
Some crooks mastermind elaborate escape plans. This guy….got busted by looseleaf paper and phonics.
So yes, detectives solved the case… wait for it…..Elementary, my dear… YaJagoff.
