This cooler serves as an icon to our own jagoffery! We have paid the price for forgetting!
As you my know, every Friday morning we do videos called the Rohrich Toyota Tailgate. Because it’s us, we give a prize each week. Because it’s a tailgate, we have a “prop” cooler on hand that we use to reveal the weekly prize.
One week, we forgot our cooler so we went to a local, Mt. Lebo, hardware store to find a cooler. It was the closest place we could find in a short amount of time.
We purchased this Yeti cooler for .. go sit down..like… really.. sit down!! We purchased a cooler like the one in the pic for …. ugh.. SIT DOWN…for $230!!!!!! See? We told you to sit down.
The good news is, we showed up at our tailgate video with a cooler. The band news is, this cooler would suck if it cost $50 because :
- The strap is too short to be a shoulder strap.
- The strap is too short, almost, to carry it with one hand by the strap… it bangs against your knee. It’s actually almost to short to just pull away from the cooler itself to get your hand on it.
- It’s outrageously heavy.
- It has no drain plug, so you have to dump it.
Sooo.. lesson learned. Remember your cooler! Meantime, Yeti, who charges $230 for the worst cooler ever, Ya Jagoffs?
