Convive Coffee…. AIN’T No Jagoffery There

Chia Seed Pudding at Convive Coffee

As we start 2025, I figured we would call out positive scenarios… people, places, and things that made our day great! Yesterday, 5 months at KDKA. Today, our friends initiate positivity at Convive Coffee, a Pittsburgh-based coffee group that, according to their website, promotes community and positivity.

Here’s the skinny to keep this brief.

  • YaJagoff World HQ set up shop at Alloy 26 almost a year ago.
  • Rachael and most of our partners LOVE themselves some morning coffee.
  • John.. ain’t a coffee drinker but enjoys a good chocolate milk AND found out how good the Chia Seed Pudding is that’s offered at all 4  Convive locations. Yeah, JC the cold-pizza, McD’s eatin’ person had a new found love affair with Chia Seed Pudding!
  • The tough news, the early jag gets the Chia Seed Pudding at Convive… fair enough… they put only so many in the display case each day and there are days that the puddings are sold out!

That all said, we had a sitch that someone was a patient in a hospital near a Convive location and was interested in the Jag-acclaimed Chia Seed Pudding. Knowing that the puddings sometimes sell out early in the morning, we called to see if we could reserve a couple of servings that location. We left a voicemail requesting the new fave and then crossed our fingers and toes hoping they would be available when we arrived.

BIG MOMENT: About 15 minutes later, we received a text message from a Convive contact stating that the puddings would be on hold and ready for pick up when we arrived. The million-dollar minute was when the counter person stated that the owner of Convive requested that those containers be put on hold for us and our patient!

Thanks to Convive Coffee… we appreciate your Pittsburgh-hearts… YaJagoffs! (DEFINITELY the term of endearment kind!)
