In their second, “OK, there’s been a championship win so what should we be doing about it” meeting in 2 weeks (3rd meeting, I guess, if you consider the one that jinxed Stanley Cup Final Game 5) City of Pittsburgh and Allegheny County Officials, last night, declared today to be, “Say Something Nice About Cleveland” Day!
In case you live under a rock or just haven’t had a chance to eat your Wheaties yet and get your eyes open, the Cleveland Cavaliers won the NBA Championship. In their “We love him, We love him not” relationship with LeBron James, the Cleveland folks are at we LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE HIM right now!
The City and County officials who spoke to our SJU (Special Jagoff Unit) reporters under anonymity said, “Look, we beat their @##es in football. We don’t have an NBA team and, quite honestly, Cleveland is only 2 hours away and is pretty fun to visit for a long weekend! So, for today, one day, we are encouraging people to say at least one thing nice about Cleveland today! Call someone there. Complement a co-worker from there, whatever. Just don’t post in on the internet, because that %#@ is FOREVER and we don’t want that!!!
