2021 YaJagoff Porch Tour

Zachary’s Mission is a non-profit organization that supports families of medically fragile children by providing necessities, financial assistance, and programs that nurture emotional well-being.

They work in partnership with hospital staff and care coordinators at Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC, The Children’s Home and Lemieux Family Center, West Penn Hospital NICU, and The Children’s Institute to identify families who would benefit from the most recognizable initiative; Zack Packs.

These are valuable bags “packed” with items beyond the hospital staples including conditioner, gas cards, and the Rob Vince “must” notepad and pen.  “Journaling at Zack’s bedside helped me deal with what was happening, and in turn it helps others.”

This summer, the YaJagoff Porch Tour hit a record-high of entries to hit porches for a philanthropic party.  Six hosts helped gather two full carloads of items, gift cards, and money for Zachary’s Mission. We brought the podcast guests, music, Ernie Ricci’s Sausage, Mancini’s bread and YaJagoff beer, thanks to North Country Brewing, and hosts collected items for Zack Packs.  In addition, and thanks to our partners and friends, hosts received Pierogi Festival tickets, Kennywood tickets, Heinz History Center passes, and goodies from Mary Mac Bakehouse.
