Walk, run or even trot the annual tradition known as the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh #TurkeyTrot that benefits the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh and The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank. The jagoffs trot talk with Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank Fundraising Coordinator, Maria Montaro, the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh’s Director of Annual Giving, Bruce Berringer, the Lighthouse Project Director, James Brown, and Senior Vice President & Chief Development Officer, Carolyn Grady.

Rohrich Honda houses an inventory of pre-owned, certified cars, but like Christmas coming, the dealership in Bloomfield just received a few new CRV’s and Passports. This is just in time to partake in the jagoffs Hop in to go shoppin’ Black Friday contest at the Mall at Robinson.  You and three friends get picked up and driven to the mall for a morning fuel up, lunch and shopping.  All you have to do is tell us YOUR story.  Rohrich Honda may get a smaller fleet of cars and trucks weekly, but they have a 100-point system to best prepare their pre-owned and certified vehicles on the lot.  Plus, they have a warehouse full of backups that can satisfany vehicle request. While tackling the food insecurity network in the region, Carolyn teases spatchcocking the turkey while completing your Turkey Trot Race.

James Brown: The Lighthouse Project Director of the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh, James Brown, dives into the music scene explaining the in-house studio at the Y which serves young people in Homewood, and around Pittsburgh, to explore and create music. Plus, it serves as a commercial studio, too! Get involved through the art of music and find some of their tunes as a contributor for the YMCA Turkey Trot.

Maria Montaro: Community Fundraising Coordinator of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, Maria Montaro, turns hunger into hope for this year’s community engagement goals at the YMCA Turkey Trot. Find donation bins at every YMCA location in Pittsburgh or head directly to the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank website to donate and stabilize food security beyond the holidays.

Bruce Berringer: The YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh’s Director of Annual Giving, Bruce Berringer talks longevity with his 28 years at the YMCA.  Find him getting emotional regarding Pittsburghers and people across the nation who come together to participate in the great Thanksgiving tradition. Hear about heartfelt stories and be sure to jump on the start line of the YMCA Turkey Trot’s 1-mile, 5K, 5-mile.
