Jerad Bachar, President and CEO of Visit Pittsburgh.  March Madness has more than Duquesne students excited in the Burgh, and Governor Shapiro is among the leadership attending the annual meeting. In addition, June is going to be a busy month downtown with Three Rivers Arts Festival and PRIDE, but there are other amazing events to add to your calendar.  

Elliott-born Ryan Douglass played for Bishop Canevin High School where, in his freshman year, he threw a no hitter in the WPIAL semifinals. After high school, Ryan was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 13th Round of the MLB Draft. After playing professional baseball for nine years, Ryan founded the Ryan Douglass Field of Dreams Baseball Clinic, which provides free clinics to children ages 6-12. Registration is now open for the 18th Annual Clinic, which will take place on April 13th.
