QUESTION OF THE DAY:

Question of the day: Most often used acronyms in a text message? Thanks to Jay Obertance for the idea.

Jim Busis: The Pittsburgh Jewish Chronicle is an American weekly newspaper published every Thursday for the Jewish community in the Greater Pittsburgh Region since 1962, and Jim Busis has been the CEO and Publisher for over a decade. With a business background and a small family in tow, he returned to his Pittsburgh roots to regain that family structure he loved about his hometown. But in what other countries did he reside? You won’t believe it!

Katie of Leona’s Ice Cream strolls down her ten-year ice cream lane on the jag couch and feeds the jags chocolate and heath ice cream sammies. For years customers have been asking for a storefront and she and partner, Christa, found the right location and opportunity at the new food hall space, Lawrence Hall in Lawrenceville at 4609 Butler St. And how did Leona’s get its name?

Matt started the Music of Koz in 2018 and has cranked out great music ever since. He is a regular at Harp and Fiddle and doesn’t always play Irish music, plus he gave the perfect junk drawer gift for tired voices.

Kenny Pickett: John and Rach created a makeshift decisionmaker called Kenny Pickett-which is KP on a stick. Our musicians decide their favorite, this or that. Tonight, it was Leona’s ice cream. Heath was an easy fave. Thanks to Jared Wickerham for the Kenny Pickett choosing stick.

412 Dos: Jared Bundy from Visit Pittsburgh brings us the 412 Do’s that includes Pirate Fest and Boyce Park, regardless of the weather forecast. Plus follow Rohrich.com for all of your vehicle needs.
