DJ Bonics: Usually we catch him in between segments at the David Alan fashion show in the fall where he throws out a few ‘Burgh memories. Now we get to hear about his start with “Cam,” his version of the Anthem and how it was first perceived, plus the differences between performing as a radio host, at the club, and as an innovator. Most importantly, we get a glimpse of what Minneapolis is like now, since that is the city he calls home now. In his words, change starts with a conversation based on respect.

1:14 Alayna

She started with classical music and as a member of the Butler Highschool Choir, and her choir director pushed her to other outlets like the Brick House for open mics, which led Ms. Alayna to Nashville. Now, with a few releases and some Country Music creds, this female inspiration credits the Dixie Chicks and Pittsburgh fave Gabby Barrett for keeping women top of mind in the country music scene. She may miss an MTO salad most of all. Alayna on Spotify.
