Where Ya at YaJagoff

Where Ya At? Astoria, New York!

D’ja know that YaJagoff is a media company? D’ja know that two members of our team live in Astoria? Meet Collin and Ray who work in our satellite office in New York and enjoy their ‘Where Ya At?’

Sal, Chris and Charlie’s:

There is rarely a day where you won’t find a line out the door! But lemme tell yinz, it’s worth the wait. Any sandwich hits the spot but for a first timer, “The Bomb” always comes highly recommended. A fully loaded Italian hoagie with the finest deli meats, fresh cheeses, sweet and hot peppers and a mustard and Mayo smear. Find out why they earned the name “Sandwich King of Astoria!

Stamatis:

Astoria, NY is a predominately Greek neighborhood, so it’s only fitting that it is full of some of the best Greek cuisine you’ll find! Stamatis is a hidden gem and you really can’t go wrong with any of their traditional Greek dishes. The Saganaki appetizer and their pork chops with lemon potatoes are among faves.

Delicias Calenas Astoria:

This small Columbian market doesn’t look like much, but like their authentic empanadas, good things come in small packages. Available in beef, cheese and chicken, and for just $3 each, they make for the perfect late-night snack! And when the cashier asks if “you want spicy” always say yes!

The Irish Rover:

Ask any local what their favorite bar is and they’ll all have a different answer. But The Irish Rover is ours. A classic neighborhood watering hole where there’s always good conversation, a cold beer, and an open seat at the bar.

George’s Deli:

Need a cold drink, gum, eggs and toilet paper? This is your place. George’s is a 28th corner classic. Any sandwich you can think of you can get. But don’t miss out on a New York must have; chopped cheese!
