Roland’s Seafood Grill Lobster Nachos
Neighborhood: Strip District
Why we love them: Try not to be too shellfish when the lobster nachos are served at your table! So yummy, you won’t want to share! But even if you’re being shellfish- Roland’s is definitely not with the generous amount of lobster on top. We love these nachos because of the seafood spin on them making them such a unique appetizer. Plus, it’s hard to find this great of seafood in the city!
Gordo’s Taco & Tequila Chorizo Nachos
Neighborhood: Mount Washington
Why we love them: Newest menu item—Nachos! Not only is Gordos a brand new small business in the neighborhood of Mount Washington, but they also participated in our YaJagoff scavenger hunt and hosted us to film a CBS Pittsburgh News commercial! Gordo’s makes everything from scratch and we have been loving their new Chorizo Nachos!
Lawrenceville Distilling Company 1.5 Pounds of Nachos
Neighborhood: Lawrenceville
Why we love them: Anywhere with a day dedicated to nachos gets an A+ in our book! Every Thursday, there’s a $25 special which includes two drinks and a 1.5 pound pizza box full of nachos! We love the pickled veggies and chipotle sour cream. Cocktails are fantastic, too!
Bigham Tavern
Neighborhood: Mount Washington
Why we love them: Bigham is the perfect place to watch a game and get rowdy with friends! Our favorite menu item is the fried chicken Mount Nachos loaded with beer cheese, tomato, jalapeño, black beans, cilantro, and sour cream! Make sure to check out their $5 Nacho Hill appetizer too!
Las Velas
Neighborhood: Downtown
Why we love them: You could never go wrong with margaritas and nachos from Las Velas the heart of market square! We teamed up with our good friends from @the.health.blend to check out their happy hour Skinny Margaritas (highly recommend adding jalapeño and cucumber for a spicy/refreshing twist)! Their fully loaded steak nachos are not so skinny—but so amazing!
