You only have a few more nights to experience the Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium’s Zoo Lights event. They have over 80 animal lights and 30 new displays this year! The LED decorations are dazzling and kids (and adults) will love seeing their favorite animals in lights. The zoo offers a few merchandise stands along the route that sell fun light-up toys and refreshments including hot chocolate. We also spotted Santa, the Grinch, and Daniel Tiger and his friends from our car.
The drive-thru the zoo lasts about 30 minutes and the price per car is absolutely worth it. The Zoo Lights event is offered from 5:15 PM – 9:45 PM on select nights through December 30th.
