The city of Pittsburgh is no stranger to unity and pride. It’s with the same spirit that we look forward to the Pittsburgh Pride Revolution 2023, which promises to be a landmark event in the city’s vibrant history. We celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Pride this year, marking 50 years of fearless strength, resilience, and equality.
For the first time, all three of Pittsburgh’s professional sports teams unite to stand with the LGBTQIA+ community to support this significant event. This unity echoes the essence of the Pittsburgh Pride Revolution – a celebration of diversity and inclusion and a testament to the power of solidarity.
Spanning three days from June 2 to June 4, the Pride Revolution will occur in various locations across the city, including Downtown Pittsburgh, Northside, and Bloomfield. There’s a little something for everyone – a delightful mix of performances, free concerts featuring local, national, and international artists, vendors, a community march, and more.
The festivities kick-off on June 1 with our partners AIDS Free Pgh and True T Pgh at Too Hot for July in Homewood. The excitement continues on June 2 and 3 with a lineup of events at Allegheny Commons Park, North Park.
Then on Saturday, June 3, a refreshed version of the Pittsburgh Pride March & Parade will take place, beginning at 11th Street and Liberty Avenue downtown near the Strip District. With a brand new route snaking through downtown Pittsburgh and culminating at Allegheny Commons Park West, it’s bound to be a colorful spectacle of community spirit.
On June 4, the action shifts to Bloomfield’s Main Street, promising a full day of Pride-filled joy from 1 pm to 9 pm.
The Pittsburgh Pride Revolution is more than a party. It’s a reminder of the progress and the strides we continue to take toward a more inclusive and understanding society. It’s about embracing diversity and standing together, no matter what.
