Looking for something to do this weekend? Enjoy three days of free, family fun at the Moraine State Park Regatta this weekend, August 5-7.
The Regatta is “naturally” fun and provides a variety of weekend activities for friends and families to enjoy. The Regatta offers land and lake events, along with exciting opportunities to engage with the natural resources of the Park.
Located in Butler County, Moraine State Park consists of 16,725 acres and offers an abundance of outdoor activities like hiking, biking, boating, and more. Continue exploring with a ride on Preston’s Pearl, an educational tour boat offering a variety of cruises.

Vendor Marketplace
From burgers and BBQ to Asian cuisine and sweet desserts, visitors will have no shortage of food trucks and vendors to satisfy their cravings. Non-food vendors include local crafts and artisans, as well as showcases from businesses and service providers across the region.

Land Recreation
Classes and demonstrations of yoga, guided hikes, pilates, tai chi, martial arts, etc. hosted by local organizations. This area will promote land recreation at the park. Attendees can learn about exercise options available in the community and teachers will have opportunities for reaching new members.

Regatta Car Cruise
Car, truck and motorcycle enthusiasts meet for an exhibition of vintage, classic and customized vehicles on both days. Donations are gratefully accepted, but participation is free, and owners of the first 100 vehicles receive a commemorative dash plaque.
4th Annual Pittsburgh Paddlesport Championships
In 2018, Performance Kayak and the American Cancer Society teamed up for the first time to bring you the Pittsburgh Paddlesports Championships. Their move to Moraine State Park Regatta at Lake Arthur is exciting, and they will be bringing longer routes, more options and overall, a unique race experience.
Pennsylvania SUP Championship at Moraine State Park
The race will offer an array of divisions including: Kayaks, Canoes, and SUP. Registration proceeds will benefit the First Waves program to support education and conservation efforts for under-served youth in the Greater Pittsburgh region. Kayak and Canoe registrants will benefit the American Cancer Society.
