There he goes… just a kid, a quad and the open road. But…. the “open road” is a busy Brighton Heights street. At dusk. With traffic.
No lights. No reflective gear. Just four wheels, a T-shirt and apparently a healthy amount of confidence. Smart enough to have a helmet though!
According to the person who sent us this photo, a passing driver actually stopped to warn the young rider that what they were doing was dangerous.
The response? The kid gave the ol’ one-finger back-of-the-hand salute and at the stoplight.
Drivers have enough trouble seeing full-sized cars at dusk, let alone a kid on a dark quad with no lights. Save the finger. Turn around. Get off the street.
And wherever the grownups are… come get your disrespectful quad-riding jagoff! (HINT: Someone heard the quad leave the yard!)
