Here We Go!

Welcome to our regular Saturday feature “What Aggravates Me”

By Comedian John Knight

The big controversy in Pittsburgh this week was the Antonio Brown Facebook live feed during the post-game locker room meeting after the victory in Kansas City. It’s the new “look at me” generation. They don’t have time to listen to their coach when they could be preening for the camera.

In his defense Antonio did apologize at a press conference on Tuesday. You know, the one he showed up an hour late for because he was getting a haircut.

“Look at me!”

He also didn’t say that he would never do it again. I would suggest threatening to trade him to Cleveland might change his attitude about that.

The controversy arose, not because some of his teammates were walking around half naked, but because Coach Tomlin was caught calling the New England Patriots assholes. There really shouldn’t be any commotion here. Do you think the Patriots don’t know what they are? They wear it like a badge of honor.

That’s why this game on Sunday is different. Yes, of course it’s to see who goes to the Super Bowl, but it’s also against the hated Patriots. Whoever wins gets to go to their ninth Super Bowl. If New England would win and go on to win the Super Bowl, it would give Tom Brady five rings. Nobody wants that, because he’s…You know what Coach Tomlin called him.

Both of these teams have been to eight Super Bowls out of fifty. That’s sixteen percent each and thirty-two between them. Cleveland has been to zero. Do you know what that percentage is? It’s zero. That’s why nobody would want to get traded there.

I tell you what, I wouldn’t be upset if Antonio Brown goes live on Facebook after the game on Sunday. It would mean the Steelers finally beat those assholes!

“Here we go!”
