Zachary’s Mission Porch Tour with YaJagoff! 10th Anniversary Party
Join YaJagoff as we celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Zachary’s Mission Porch Tour podcast series! To celebrate, the Jags decided to shake things up and raise the stakes for Zachary’s Mission, a non-profit dedicated to helping families with children in the hospital.
The format looks a bit different. For the last nine years, the Porch Tour episodes were recorded at podcast listeners’ porches, complete with fun pod guests, musicians, and prizes for hosting.
Instead, this year, past porch hosts will convene on June 7 at Mike’s Beer Bar, a.k.a. the ultimate Pittsburgh porch, to record four episodes as they square off. Each episode will feature a different porch tour guest and musician, our host Mike… and a few other familiar faces.
As if the porch tour could not get any more competitive, this year, past porch hosts will also serve as celebrity bartenders and are challenged to get as many guests as possible to donate dollars AND appropriate Zachary’s Mission items to fill Zack Packs that are dispersed to families experiencing extended overnight hospital stays.
The all-stars are individually competing to collect the most cash donations for Zachary’s Mission from those they are serving. It wouldn’t be fun if there weren’t a competitive edge.
Ray Petelin, Doug Oster, and Shelly Duff have already committed to be part of the podcasts, which will be taped between noon and 5 p.m. on June 7 at Mike’s Beer Bar.
