A proud Pittsburgh native, Tressa is the creator and host of the Yinz Are Good podcast, which shares the good news and good deeds that are going on in the Greater Pittsburgh area. Tressa is also an actor, writer, producer, Jefferson Award recipient, creator of the live sitcom/web series The Sisters Sorella and founder of SWAN Day Pittsburgh. As an actor, she works regionally in theatre, film and tv. Local theatre credits include Pittsburgh Public Theater, City Theatre, Quantum Theatre, Bricolage, PICT, Pittsburgh Playwrights Theatre Co., and Arcade Comedy Theater, among others. Film, tv and web credits include A League of Their Own, A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood, Archive 81, $1, Breakage, My Date With Adam, and I'll Call You.
Michela is a Pittsburgh transplant who moved to the Steel City to pursue a degree in Sports Media and Information at Duquesne University. She recently completed her Master of Fine Arts and produced her first feature-length documentary, The Pillion. Consistently immersed in the realm of modern media, when she isn’t jagging around with the marketing team or producing Yajagoff! Late Night, Michela is an Adjunct Instructor at her alma mater and CCAC, teaching media design and photography. She serves as a Media Consultant for Ethically Speaking, a podcast produced by the Patricia Doherty Yoder Institute for Ethics and Integrity in Journalism and Media and is on the Marketing Committee for The Keystone News Summit. In the summer you can catch her rooting for The Pittsburgh Pirates as a member of The Bucco Brigade. Other production credits include Overseas Famous, Our Region’s Business, Pittsburgh Hockey Now, and Campus Movie Fest, for various roles ranging from producer to guest host.
