YaJagoff Podcast The National Aviary

SUMMARY:

The Hear Foundation started with the story of a Black man who was shot five times by a Pittsburgh police officer and paralyzed during a traffic stop that arose from a case of mistaken identity. Leon Ford used that story for social change, police reform, and reconciliation between police and community. The CEO of the Hear Foundation, Cindy L. Haines, joined him on YJLN.  Cathy Schlott, Director of Animal Programs & Experiences at the National Aviary brought the Northern, white-faced owl who stole everyone’s attention with his cute face and bright eyes. North Journal writer, Harry Funk catches up with the jags and performs an original song that may provide a Grateful Dead vibe, which may be his fave band.
