Today’s Yakkin’ With YaJagoff – Dusty Baker
Yep… had to put on a suit and lose the ball cap for this one! We are yakkin’ with Dusty Baker, Manager of the Washington Nationals. While Pittsburghers may love to hate him at times, he LOVES Pittsburgh.
On top of that, the night we met, he won the Pittsburgh Rotary Club’s 9th annual Chuck Tanner MLB Manager of the Year Award. The award is given to the MLB Manager that emulates the good habits of our beloved Chuck Tanner! Previous winners of the Chuck Tanner MLB Manager of the Year award are Joe Torre, Joe Maddon, Ron Gardenhire, Jim Leyland, Bob Melvin, Charlie Manuel, Davey Johnson, Buck Showalter and our own Clint Hurdle and Jeff Banister.
