1:10    Mairin Petrone

The Pittsburgh Irish Festival is celebrating its 30th anniversary of different lucky landings and features, but the same creative Executive Director, Mairin Petrone. Founded by her aunt and mom, the family-owned festival started in the kitchen making desserts from her great-great grandmother’s recipes! In its 30th year, Mairin showcased an Irish greenhouse, some fireworks, and the usual seasoned family recipes.

10:39    Ruben Campos

The second time is a charm when it comes to flying with PGH renowned helicopter pilot Ruben Campos! San Diegan, now yinzer, he captures stunning aerial views of Pittsburgh’s winding rivers, classic skyline, and mountainous valley landscapes. He certainly knows where to fly with the best views and how to make his dreams soar, quite literally. And that IG account……

23:20    Screaming Orphans

What did the sister band do during the pandemic? Well, shows in the “orange room” of their parent’s house, of course! From Donegal, Ireland, the Screaming Orphans are back at it again with their award-winning twist on Celtic pop and folk music.  The gals graced the PIF with a moment of homage to the 9/11 anniversary and rock the stage, with many thanks to the U.S. Embassy, no less

34:20    Sean Finnerty

Roasting (even Pittsburgh) is Sean Finnerty’s style of humor as the stand-up comedian has commanded crowds as the first Irish comedian on the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. As seen on Hulu and Amazon Prime, he creates relatable moments thanks to his journey from Ireland to New York, and his vehicle breakdown in Orlando that landed him a comedy career.
