2:01 Rachel Carlson
From Yelp gal to new Community Marketing Manager of Togo Group, Rachel Carlson visits the jagoffs after a two-year hiatus from child rearing and changing gears professionally. Pittsburgh’s what to do darling is behind the social media of a new app for traveling, specifically with an RV. Is there a monthly jagoff segment with Rach in the works?
19:01 Henry Kacprzyk
The Curator of Reptiles & Kids Kingdom is a kinda big deal at The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium. Not only has he been a staple there for decades, Sally Wiggin declared him as the go-to guy when it comes to official knowledge of animal behavior, plus save him a seat at the bar because he is relatable like the guy next door. So relatable, kid visitors sometimes test his reptile knowledge, darn google, but Henry’s stories are better.
33:47 Ken Kaemmerer
The Curator of Mammals hails from the Dallas Zoo, but boasts of OUR medium sized mecca since we are one of few who also house the aquarium for visitors. He describes a unique mammal that is not quite an ant eater, but interesting to eyeball with its scales. It sounds like penguin, but it’s quite the convo starter, like the Asian Lantern Festival, a bright display Thursday through Sunday nights through October 30.
47:34 Gary Neyman
Classic case of retiree who becomes a rock star at a craft after his traditional work days are done. This Butler native appreciated the guitar sound, did some research on creative kits, and is now a sought-after guitar builder. He schools the jagoffs on the proper wood for development, technique and process.
