Today: Name The 40-Foot Duck Contest

Rachael Rennebeck

YJ-Duck

Something a little different today!

Yesterday on Facebook, I asked people to suggest names for the 40-foot duck that is going to sit around the Pittsburgh rivers for the next few weeks.  We have NOT confirmed that it is going to be outfitted with secret sonar equipment to find the B-25 “Pittsburgh Ghost Bomber.” But its a reasonable thought.

Here are the five suggested names that were chosen by a panel of beer-drinking-neighbors to be the finalists:

Yaquackoff  – Submitted by Sandy Stuhlfire

Pittsbird – Submitted by Jenn Pyatt

Troy Paddlemalu – Submitted by Sarah Brancazio Lemasters

Donny Iris Jr – Submitted by Sarah Brancazio Lemasters

Andrew McQuackcheon – Submitted by Luke Bruss
