Just a quick note to say THANKS to all of you who donated virtual beads to the HairPeace Charities Mardi Gras event!
Recap:
- Over the last few weeks, we have been asking YINZ to donate $10 to help us become the King and Queen of the event.
- Last year, we came in at a close second and we were determined to be first THIS year.
- On top of that, we collected the most beads on site at the event held at the Joinery Hotel. Of course, we bribed everyone we could with some YaJagoff giveaways.
- Johnny Angel did a quick song with the band. THAT might have been part of our bribe strategy as well but we will never tell.
- This year, we raised $700 on line thanks to all of you.
Thanks so much!! We love being involved in the community! We promise to be humble as King and Queen!
