Summer Safari, one of the region’s most anticipated annual events, will kick off the summer season with a Rock’n Roar on Saturday, June 11!
Dance through the decades as you groove through the Zoo enjoying themed musical entertainment in each location, extensive libations, and delectable dishes provided by Pittsburgh’s premier restaurants, including the Zoo’s exclusive catering company, Taste.

With the Zoo as the backdrop for this magical, musical evening, it is sure to be a hit for all partygoers and musical preferences. VIP ticket holders get early admission to Summer Safari with exclusive access to the VIP party tent.
Attire is cocktail fashionable, jungle-stylish, OR dress your favorite decade to really get that groovin’ feeling as you two-step, twist, hustle, and rock through the Zoo.

Groups of 10 or more receive an automatic 10% discount on entire purchase at checkout.
- Attendees must be at least 21 years of age. A summer Safari ticket and a valid photo ID are required to enter Summer Safari.
- VIP Ticket holder admission begins at 6 p.m. General Admission begins at 6:30 p.m.
- Summer Safari is a rain or shine event. Tickets will not be refunded due to inclement weather.
- Attire is Summer Fashionable and jungle stylish with comfortable shoes. This year, you can add a twist and dress your favorite decade.
- Summer Safari is one of our biggest fundraisers of the year. We consider the purchase of your ticket as a donation to the Zoo. As such, we do not offer refunds and truly appreciate your generous donation.
