Not sure what I get more of, people who are desperate to buy my house or reminders of what “debt” I owe. But the Turnpike one gets me every damn time! Another smishing scam!
Between business trips and hockey camps, we are on that turnpike regularly and the ez pass has made everything so ez that it is ez to assume that you owe another fee, why not just pay through the help of a text message? It looks legit and simple and we are so used to easy click-and-pay options. The crazy part is the text goes to some in PA, and some not in PA. Some have traveled the pike, and some never have. So the best advice is to delete it immediately. Do not click and for goodness sake, do not pay it!
