It’s the Pirates’ opening day. I can get all up in n’at!! Can I get a whoop-whoop?
There are actually plenty of reasons to be excited about this season:
- Another winning season is realistic
- The new Tater Tots Nachos with chili, spicy nacho cheese and scallions
- Concerts with fireworks

- Bobble Heads
- The new Tater Tots Nachos with chili, spicy nacho cheese and scallions
- Free t-shirt Fridays
- The new Tater Tots Nachos with chili, spicy nacho cheese and scallions
- The new Tater Tots Nachos with chili, spicy nacho cheese and scallions
- aaaaaaaaand of course, the new Tater Tots Nachos with chili, spicy nacho cheese and scallions!
In the event you don’t understand what’s going on here, they’re taking tater tots and covering them with nacho toppings!! How glorious is that? Why have we not yet thought of this with things like Liver and brussel sprouts? Wait, even more, since this is pretty much a heart attack in a wax-coated paper boat, has anyone tried to get the Tater Tots Nachos sponsored by TUMS or by the UPMC Health plan or Highmark and their associated heart catheterization labs? I can see the new commercial:
“Hi, I represent both the UPMC Health Plan AND Highmark. And we both support the use of Tater Tots Nachos with chili, spicy nacho cheese and scallions at PNC Park. And that’s because, with these things, there’s more than enough market share for both of us. You’ll be selling your kids to pay the deductible.”
Sadly, I can’t make it to opening day but, when I get to a game, I fully intend to gorge myself with cheese, chili, scallion cover tater tots even if it means dying of clogged arteries on the bus on the way home! Soooooo let’s go Bucs aaaand, for gawd sake, let’s go Tater Tots Nachos with chili, spicy nacho cheese and scallions, Ya Jagoffs!!!
