We want some semblance of a holiday parade. So, join us for our fourth annual parade that doesn’t move at the upper level of the Block Northway, just outside of DSW Shoes on Saturday starting at 10 a.m. Expect to taste test some PGH Dumplingz, and hear from a few authors, including thriller writer J.R Mason, as well as a book about aviation history thanks to Heinz History Center’s Brian Butko and Sue Morris. Add performances from Bastard Bearded Irishmen and Don Mike Mendoza, a go-kart, a Pirate Parrot and a pizza acrobat. Did we mention karaoke and a pub on wheels? This is a reminder to come to watch the festivities unfold and bring the kids for a pic with Santa as well as a cookie station thanks to Nothing Bundt Cakes, Crumbl, and Paris Baguette!
Plus don’t forget about our 8th parking chair ornament that is also available thanks to the talents of Mary Mac Bakehouse. This year’s traditional parking chair is Adirondack-ish and boasts a branded coffee cup, fitting since we have partnered with the Peoples Gas Eat, Drink, Help program. Purchase a bag of This is my Perking Spot YaJagoff dark roast coffee, and Peoples Gas will donate a dollar to our non-profit of choice, Pittsburgh Emergency Medicine Foundation.
