Get it, like FriYAY?! Except the yay is quite surreal.
Known as the “Pioneer Broadcasting Station of the World,” and considered the first commercially licensed radio station, KDKA is available on 1020 AM and 100.1 FM. As Pittsburghers, we know the impact those four letters have on listeners. From the longevity and tradition to the content and broadcasters, we will be part of it starting tonight!
Expect to hear our podcast every Friday as a true late-night show after high school football starting on August 23. The coolest part is that we will be on air from 6-10 p.m. tonight and next Friday. You can tune in to John and Rachael starting at 6 p.m. and talking all things Pittsburgh. Audacy will begin hosting our podcast and you can still watch the show at 10 p.m. on Facebook and YouTube.
It is an honor and a true Pittsburgh milestone to be aligned with KDKA. We hope you listen, we hope you weigh in, and we know we will make mistakes. But we are beyond excited to join the KDKA team.
