Welcome to our regular Saturday feature “What Aggravates Me”
I recently started doing short videos called “What Aggravates Me!” with John Knight, keeping with the theme of this post. I know we’ve done some videos in the past, but they were sporadic. This time I hope to produce them on a weekly basis, as long as I can come up with a topic and make it funny.
Although, I released one for the eclipse, it really started last week with Jeh-Hov-A-Way. If you didn’t see it, it’s a spray that keeps the Jehovah’s Witnesses from knocking on your door.
So, this week I thought I would address the hot topic of the week. That would be the debate over the NFL players and the National Anthem. It’s all I heard about on sports talk this week, not to mention the regular news.
My intentions were not to take a side or make it political. OK, I did take a side but I think all Steeler fans will agree with me. Probably all Bears fans as well…
Unfortunately, some people felt that it could be considered a political statement. All I was trying to do was make light of the subject everyone was talking about. Nobody was upset about the Jehovah’s Witness spray…Ok, a couple of people, but I don’t know them so it really didn’t bother me.
