Not gonna be any nostalgic Pin-the-Tail-on-the-Donkey or any kind of special cake but, we’re proud that YaJagoff.com has turned 15 years old!
Fifteen years ago, YaJagoff.com quietly came on to the internet with the concept of, kindly and humorously calling out people and things being jagoffs. The very first jagoff “call out” was Mother Nature for giving us too nice of weather for the Penguins’ Winter Classic game that posted on 12/30/.
Objective #2 was to remind all that the phrase Ya Jagoff is also a term of endearment between prideful yinzers. Just like Bugga used it at the Stroll Inn.
What started as a silly little, Pittsburgh-centric outlet to call out jagoffery, bad parking, dumb criminals, inanimate objects and even the weather, has become YaJagoff Media. YJM has become a PR/marketing/social media content company full of Pittsburgh pride with a knack for telling Pittsburgh stories in a prideful and lighthearted manner with a podcast, YaJagoff Late Night, home-grown video series’ such as Jeet Jet, Where Ya At, Jaggin’ Around With and even a regular radio show on the iconic KDKA AM-FM radio station.
We even won 3 Press Club Golden Quill Awards which is kind of like the Super Bowl for journalism.
Like the Pittsburgh area weather, YaJagoff.com continuously evolved over 15 years…no matter how many times the Wi-Fi went down.
We are fortunate that YaJagoff.com has become more than just a website. It’s a community. A gathering spot for anyone who’s ever watched in horror as someone grabbed the last 2 parking spots at Eat n Park and parked crooked as well as those that love the charm of Western Pa!
From hosting events to supporting local businesses, YaJagoff.com has transcended its sarcastic beginnings to become a voice for positivity… delivered in a unique, lighthearted manner.
We are happy to be 15! We couldn’t have imagined the first 15 years’ path so who knows what’s in store for the next 15. Either way we are excited in a Styx-Rennegade-Terrible-Towel-waive kind of way for the next 15.
