With Pittsburgh museums reopening in early July, it is only fit and ginchy that Johnny Angel’s Ginchy Stuff store and music museum is gearing up as well. The legendary Pittsburgh Doo Wop dude, Johnny Angel, is hosting the grand reopening on tonight, starting at 6 p.m. With ginchy being a 60’s word for cool things, the reopening just may include some store additions, some new exhibits, and some halos, as in Johnny Angel & the Halos.
Johnny Angel has been in the music and entertainment industry for over 45 years and has great stuff and stories that were accumulated during his illustrious career. Johnny Angel’s Ginchy Stuff houses autographed pictures, memorabilia, vintage clothing, records and now MORE in its recent redevelopment since COVID-19. Plus, experience the museum portion that thrusts you back decades.
TONIGHT: Oldies DJ, Rookie Rick, will be setting the timeless scene as Angel unveils some new surprises for his store that includes additional exhibits AND its very own Pittsburgh room. And then some singing is gonna break out! Who knows what local Pittsburgh music artists are going to show up to harmonize!
The parking lot will permit us to properly social-distance.
