Last month, we told yinz that we have a satellite office in New York where two of our team members, Collin and Ray, live and work. D’ja know that we also have a presence in the Midwest as well? Another team member, Dan, works out of our satellite office in South Bend, Indiana.

Purely Pressed
My mornings, right after the gym, begin with a Vanilla Keto Coffee with maple and cinnamon, at Purely Pressed, a local, family-owned organic juice and coffee bar. From their delicious smoothie bowls to fresh-pressed juices to their coffees, this health cafe is dedicated to bringing customers only the highest quality, organic products with exceptional customer service. No GMO’s, no pesticides, and no antibiotics.
Bru Burger Bar
Bru Burger Bar, out of Indianapolis, now has 10 locations in three states: Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. Bru’s menu offers award-winning burgers using locally sourced meats and vegetables, fresh salads, sandwiches, and other dishes from the Bru culinary team. My personal favorite is their Honey-Chipotle BBQ burger with Bacon, Caramelized Onion, Tillamook White Cheddar, Onion Ring, BBQ Pulled Pork, and Black Pepper Mayo.
Jesus Latin Grill & Tequila Bar
Jesús Latin Grill & Tequila Bar serves authentic Latin cuisine influenced by the owners’ own culinary travels south of the US border. We found Jesús during the pandemic last year and ordered a takeout dinner for Mother’s Day. Their decor and their menu are inspired from Mexico to the southern tip of Argentina and everything in between.
I highly recommend their Chaufa, a cantonese and peruvian stir fry (see above).
Macri’s Italian Bakery
Macri’s is our go-to place for pastries. In addition to their pastries, they also have freshly prepared sandwiches, pasta, pizza, and more. They also have a small section in the bakery where you can purchase Italian groceries to go, such as olive oil, spices, pasta, and wine.

From the frentic atmosphere on the University of Notre Dame’s campus, to taking a selfie in front of Touchdown Jesus, to watching a game in the “House That Rockne Built,” the Fighting Irish gameday experience is certainly special. A Notre Dame football weekend is an experience a bit similar to a Steelers game day weekend. A pep rally is typically held on a Friday night before a game on our street where we live in South Bend. Bands are brought in and the entire Notre Dame Football Team and Coaching Staff make an appearance to cheer on the Irish.
