The jags received some pics, some pitches, and some ‘pick me’ salutations for the 2024 Peoples Gas porch tour series. Expect visits to Port Vue, Castle Shannon, Robinson and Baldwin Borough this June as we record YaJagoff Late-Night at each porch, while supporting Zachary’s Mission.
The YaJagoff Late-Night show goes on the road with guests, musicians and the jag crew thanks to Peoples Gas. The porch owners not only offer their space, but also compete to collect Zack Pack items prepared for families experiencing unexpected, and extended, hospital stays. The porch owners invite family, friends, neighbors, and even solicit Facebook friends to donate to the mission. The porch with the most items collected wins a pretty amazing prize, with years past including Penguin game tickets and an ultimate gathering at Vangura Kitchen.
Porch owners also receive hosting gifts from some incredible Pittsburgh establishments including: Pittsburgh Brewing, Caliente Pizza and Draft House, Ricci’s Italian Sausage, Mancini’s Bakery, Jenny Lee Swirl Bread, Pittsburgh Worsh Co., Mix Candle Co., Screenmobile, Yinz Lidz, SinBin Kreations, and seven-year participant, Mary Mac Bakehouse.
