We all know that roadway flaggers don’t have an easy job. They are all over the place, ESPECIALLY during construction season and when we’re in a hurry….they are our nemesis. Sometimes we want to, or even DO, yell things at them. They’re just doing their job.
Anyway.. on this particular day with this particular flagger…we think the flagger might have been doing flag-waving 1O1 training.
It was at a very busy intersection and it got really confusing for the drivers… the flagger was holding the flag and waving the stick!
As we sat there, mad, as usual thinking we could do better at traffic management, we were truly entertained by the flagging technique… hand on flag, waive the stick!
Flaggers.. you have a tough job. We apologize for getting mad at you but… meantime.. your signals can confuse us… like waiving a stick at us. But thanks for the entertainment, Ya Jagoff!
