Sometimes we are just good at unique puns but not necessarily explaining them. Maybe we need to be in a Progressive car insurance commercial? So here goes:
We joined forces with the Community Liver Alliance, the resource that helped me during my mom’s liver transplant, and created a series of fun and interactive pop-ups supporting the DeLIVERing Hope campaign. The gist of it? Ways to sell sunflowers, the flower representing hope and rebirth. We packed seeds, and have more for sale at $10 each with a YaJagoff plant stake, and now we are stickering pots at Velum. Literally putting CLA awareness and QR code stickers on plants. The QR code goes to a Doug Oster centric landing page with care tips.
Of course we want you to buy them, but it is a fun, community way to spread awareness. The event is free, but don’t be a cheapskate, buy a beer at Velum and a potted plant to support the CLA? With tip, you are leaving at like $25 spent..that is what we call best laid plants….YaJagoff!
August 5: 6:30-8 p.m at Velum to sticker the plants and meet and greet with Doug.
