The selected nonprofit’s mission is to create access to wellbeing through inclusive movement and mindfulness education for people with disabilities
On October 5, YaJagoff Helps launched its first-ever Nonprofit Nebby Day submission process and opened applications for small Allegheny County nonprofits to enter to win a free, one-day marketing strategy session, complete with a messaging refresh, social media tips, and a 90-day action plan to keep the momentum going.
After careful deliberation through various submissions, Open Up was selected to have a team of Pittsburgh experts get nebby about their organization (in a good way). In addition to a marketing plan, Open Up will receive:
- Partner News story on TribLive.com
- $2500 multimedia marketing package courtesy of TribLIVE
- Website review by TribLIVE’s Google Grant Team
- Feature story on YaJagoff.com and KDKA Radio
- Feature story in Alloy 26 newsletter
- Potential for 6-month office lease via Alloy 26
- $2,000 grant through Peoples Natural Gas’ Eat, Drink, Help program
Open Up’s mission is to expand access to wellbeing through inclusive movement and mindfulness education, centering people with disabilities as they build community and create spaces where everyone belongs.
The “neb session” with Open Up will take place at Alloy 26 on the North Shore this Monday, October 26. A team of local professionals from YaJagoff Media, Peoples Natural Gas, Deep Varnish, Nova Place/Alloy 26, TribLIVE, and The Motherhood Inc. will be on hand to share their marketing expertise with the nonprofit.
John Chamberlin and Rachael Rennebeck are Pittsburgh jagoffs (the term of endearment version of jagoff of course) who cofounded YaJagoff Media, LLC. With decades of experience eating, drinking, shopping, living and being among yinzers, we birthed the Pittsburgh-centric company encompassing all things related to the 412, oh and the 724.
