The Car that Thought it Became a Bus

The Jags

YaJagoff Bus Lane Jagoffs

There it was… not a Port Authority bus, not even a jagoff in a hurry with hazards on—just a regular ol’ car parked proudly in a clearly marked BUS LANE ONLY like it just got promoted overnight. “Congrats on the new route, buddy… what time you heading to Dormont?”

FYI.. we used the Jagoff-estrator just in case it was difficult for you to pick out the car with all of the BUS LANE ONLY bling.

Meanwhile, actual traffic is backing up like the Fort Pitt Tunnel at rush hour, buses are playing musical chairs trying to merge, and this lone hero is just… chillin’. No flashers, no shame, no clue.

So what’s the move here? Did you think the sign didn’t apply to you? Or did you wake up this morning, stretch, and say, “Today… I become public transportation.”

Either way—move it, Ya Jagoff!.

John Chamberlin and Rachael Rennebeck are Pittsburgh jagoffs (the term of endearment version of jagoff of course) who cofounded YaJagoff Media, LLC. With decades of experience eating, drinking, shopping, living and being among yinzers, we birthed the Pittsburgh-centric company encompassing all things related to the 412, oh and the 724.
