After a few year hiatus, the neighborhood sammy eevent is back and better than ever! The Northside Sandwich Week returns with a dozen neighborhood favorites to try next Monday at the Priory!
Some of our favorite Northside restaurants will compete to be crowned the Northside Sandwich King or Queen. Competitors include Breadbox, California Coffee Bar, Ida’s Sandwich Shop, North Shore Tavern, Wise County Biscuits & Cafe, Mayfly Market & Deli, Cucina Alfabeto, Penn Brewery, The Foundry, Deutschtown Deli, ShadoBeni and The Sandwich Shoppe. Attendees at the final judging event will get the chance to sample sandwiches from each competing restaurant and take part in the voting.
This Northside Chronicle fundraiser has always been beloved by the neighborhood and beyond, so this year’s judges reflect some resident Northsiders! We are honored to be the emcees and will be joined by some of our favorite people as judges including Discover the Burgh’s Jeremy and Angie, Talk Pittsburgh’s Allante Walker and musician Johnny Angel!
