This story from WPXI describes that an intoxicated man allegedly stole a yacht from the Lock Wall Marina off 23rd Street in the Strip District. The kicker… he got more intoxicated and FELL ASLEEP ON THE YACHT… so he was a pretty easy snag for the po-po!
The story summary is, the intoxicated man, let’s call him “Boater Bob,” boarded the boat. Apparently he didn’t know how to start it so he untied the boat and let it drift down the river while he emptied the liquor cabinet. Emptying the liquor cabinet, as you can imagine, resulted in “Boater Bob” dozing off on the boat! Ooopsies.
Sounds like the Goldilocks theme!
“Somebody has been has been drinking and sleeping on my yacht aaaaand… he’s still there! Right on the deck in a chase lounge chair! Handcuff ’em.” See.. just like the updated version of Goldilocks!
