Pittsburgh Jagoff Dumb Criminal that napped in car

We all know that not getting good sleep can be dangerous to your employment or even your health. Well, not getting good sleep turned out to mean being arrested for Brandon Carter of Charleroi, PA.

Seems like he allegedly had some illegal things in his car and fell asleep. When the police showed up to do a wellness check on a man in a car, well… the found some cash, almost $12K sticking out of his shirt pocket, drugs, etc, etc. See full story on TribLive.com.

Big-guy-Brando, there are so many on-line solutions/suggestions on how to get a good night sleep (before heading out on a hot run.)  I mean, have you never seen the My Pillow guy Mike Lindell? If not that, there’s a bunch of REAL stuff on the CDC site. (Yes, another reason to hit the CDC website other than Covid-19).

Tips for Better Sleep (CDC)

Good sleep habits (sometimes referred to as “sleep hygiene”) can help you get a good night’s sleep.Some habits that can improve your sleep health:

  • Be consistent. Go to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning, including on the weekends
  • Make sure your bedroom is quiet, dark, relaxing, and at a comfortable temperature
  • Remove electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and smart phones, from the bedroom
  • Avoid large meals, caffeine, and alcohol before bedtime
  • Get some exercise. Being physically active during the day can help you fall asleep more easily at night

Soooooo Big-guy Brando.. looks like we might have to adjust these CDC tips for sleeping in jail after being caught day-napping on the job by the po-po and your day-job is.. well.. not really legal:

  • Be consistent. Go to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning, including on the weekends- Nothing changes here. The jail guards will be helpful on this one.
  • Make sure your jai cell is quiet, dark, RELAXING, and at a comfortable temperature – or whatever temp the cell block is set at. Cell some cigs to a buddy to get control of the thermostat.
  • Remove electronic devices, such as TVs, computers, and smart phones, from the bedroom.   We deleted this one because, none of these will be in your cell area near your cot. Only in the jail rec-room.
  • Avoid large meals, caffeine, and alcohol before bedtime. Deleted this one too because not sure that large meals will be pertinent and alcohol shouldn’t be available so this one should be easy.
  • Get some exercise during your outta-the-cell time. Being physically active during the day can help you fall asleep more easily at night except for when the other inmates are yelling your name saying they can’t wait to “meet” you tomorrow.
