Seriously? Another Parking Jagoff?
We have had feedback from, Richard, one of our loyal followers saying, “Do you have some kind of hang-up on parking?” We’ve seen sooooo many poor parking jobs that we literally had to create a category for parking jagoffs…. check them out over on the right! It’s quite possible that everyone in the 412, 724 area codes might be subject to surprise-parking practial exams if our Jagoff Lobbyist makes some headway in Harrisburg.
In the meantime, people just keep parking like……. well, you know!
During all of our guest blogs last week, we got a Tweet of the above photo alerting us to THIS situation at Whole Foods. Almost another Jagoff Sandwich but not quite. The car on the right is technically still in-bounds!
If you’re not familiar, bottom line, parking spots in the area of Whole Foods can sometimes be about as premium as a 10-game win streak for the Pittsburgh Pirates. (Cuz it’s a great place to shop!)
So this person wheels the old mini-me-van in for a little wholesome grocery shopping and they just couldn’t seem to figure out that their van was supposed to go BETWEEN the white lines. (Maybe this is Jeff Reed’s vehicle?) Can you imagine what this would have looked like if this driver would have had to back in this spot? Yep! Total travesty.
Here’s our thoughts, “Don’t Hate – Educate!” So, we would suggest that this person, spend a full-day just sitting in one of the local Pennsylvania Drivers License Centers. They don’t have to practice parking, they just have to sit there all day. Basically, if you spend a whole day at one of those places doing some people watching, you will do ANYTHING to not have to go back- including promising to NEVER park like this again.
In the meantime, we suggest to this pull-in-without-regard-to-time-place-or-dimension-spacially-awareness-challenged-Peter-parker-perpetrator, that, it might be best to start using the bike that goes on that bike rack instead of the van. It’s probably a little less unwieldy in such “tight” parking situations such as the one above. As a matter of fact, it might be cool if you could use your bike full-time and then just have your mini-van hanging off the back of your banana-seat and sissy-bar.
But keep THIS in mind, if you ride your bicycle, it will be much easier to pull THAT into the same parking spot. But don’t do it! Pulling a bicycle into a full-sized-car parking spot, is even MORE reason to post ya on here Ya Jagoff!

I carry post it notes in my car and when I see these Jagoffs I write ” Just look at how you have parked you Jagoff” Then I stick it on the drivers window and try to educate them.
